Pete Lago Pottery brings a handbuilding pottery workshop
to your next Brownie or Boy Scout meeting.
Brownie pottery making workshops include:

Demonstration of the three main hand building techniques (pinch, coil, and slab)

Presentation of important pottery terms

Visual aids and samples from the world of pottery
Each Brownie will:
1) Make her own pinch or slab clay pot
2) Use clay to make an art piece, such as a tile or a pendant, using stamps
3) Apply glaze to one of her pieces
Boy Scout pottery making workshops include:

Demonstration of the three main hand building techniques (pinch, coil, and slab)

Presentation of required pottery information (Hand book #s 1, 2, 4, 6, 7b, 7c, and 8)

Presentation using visual aides and samples of relevant pottery information
Each Scout will:
1) Make his own pinch, slab, or decorative sculpture
2) Apply glaze to his piece
Session information:

Sessions are about 1.5-2 hours, $25/participant, 10 person minimum.

Projects will be taken at the end of the session to be glaze fired and returned in about 2 weeks.

All glazes are microwave, dishwasher, and food safe.
